An online show is probably not the same as meeting people face-to-face for doing business, but the online application developed for Taipei Cycle offers many new features to discover the latest developments in the industry.

“Taipei Cycle’s first online show is supported by key industry players such as Merida, Giant, Ideal Bike, KMC, SRAM and Shimano who will participate in the online edition,” organiser TAITRA confirmed in a press release. It offers industry professionals the ability to find business opportunities for the global market despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Over 231 exhibitor booths will be on display at Taipei Cycle Online, including renowned international operating companies. These come from 18 countries across the world, such as Italy, Japan, Denmark and the UK.

Soft goods in the spotlight

For the Fashion Show at Taipei Cycle, the organisers have stated that they will recruit local and international apparel brands and manufacturers to showcase their products alongside cycling accessories on stage. This will add a soft goods touch to Taipei Cycle which has historically been more focused on hardware such as components, bicycles, and drive systems. The forum called ‘Beyond Exercise’ will address topics including smart applications, industry trends, and the changing sales channels and marketing tactics for the post-pandemic era.
